South Gables House Closing Hours Before Hurricane Isaac

Our customers who are moving back to Coral Gables closed on this house at 6930 Almansa in the South Gables just hours before Hurricane Isaac arrived in South Florida. In fact the prior owners didn’t move out until about 10:00 in the evening during a period of blustery winds and tropical showers. We took this picture between rain cells on the morning of the hurricane and everything was “ok”. Luckily for Miamians the storm was not too bad, but, for all of us who were around during Andrew,  we always are  just a little nervous. For all of you residential real estate gurus the 2,357 sf, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house built in 1964  on a  7,500 sf lot sold for $700,000. Besides being a very livable house the location couldn’t be better as it is close to Downtown South Miami, The University of Miami main campus, and not too far from Downtown Coral Gables.

What is your opinion?
